Karen Dayawon
Karen‘s is the cheerful voice you hear when you call our shop. Her many talents include a terrific sense of humor, a real asset when we’re stressed out and working on deadline. Since 1997, Karen has been the epitome of the multi-tasking person, handling such office duties as phone calls, e-mails, bookkeeping and shipping. She has developed and maintains a customer database for us, after taking a course in Microsoft Access.
In addition, Karen brings her talent of working with her hands to putting logos on the knives, coloring titanium, cutting out sheath parts and polishing the edges. She makes a careful inspection of each knife and shines it up before it goes out the door.
Karen was raised in Queens, N.Y. (a borough of New York City). She attended LaGuardia Community College in Long Island City, N.Y. where she majored in business.
She is married and has two children.
