This group of knives are available for immediate sale. It encompasses one-off pieces, prototypes, “First Editions” and experiments. Also included in this group are production knives currently in stock and variations of our production pieces, e.g., handle materials other than our standard Grip-Guard G-10, some slight “tweaking” of the design of one of our standard models, etc. The prototype mark refers to “the first draft”, if you will, of what later will become the “final” design. Sometimes a final design was preceded by one or two prototypes. Knives marked “First Edition” which get my signature logo, rather than the standard typeface logo, are those included in the first batch (usually 3-8 pieces) sent out for heat treatment.
With the exception of the production knives, which have become “tried and true” best sellers, the knives offered here are the result of my turning loose my inspiration and creativity to try to come up with something new and different. It’s me enjoying what I do best --- making knives.
